guesting on Romancing the Story (Episode 63)

This post is a little late, (I’m moving again and way behind on everything) but I guested for the first time ever on another podcast, with the wonderful Sarah Gamez on her show Romancing the Story! We talked about monster romance as a genre, worldbuilding, and a little about my book The Gargoyle from General Management. Sarah is a great host and I had such a great time talking with her, I hope we get to chat again soon.

The episode is linked below, and you can find Sarah’s instagram here.

On Ep 63, @bykateprior expressed the themes of a monster and how she used the #monsterromance subgenre as a means of self-expression.
Many monsters throughout history have embodied avatars of self or unknown fears, and romance continues to repurpose and redefine the monster as a way of acceptance for traits society may deem “outside the norm”.
